Alabama has apparently put some real juice in the Cam Coleman sweepstakes.

The Crimson Tide are searching for playmakers in 2026, and they’ve now joined the long list of programs who are trying to lure the star transfer wideout, who just happens to be from bitter rival Auburn. On3 reported on Friday afternoon that Alabama is coming after Coleman, along with SEC rivals Texas and Texas A&M. Also in the mix for Coleman right now are USC and Texas Tech, according to Friday’s On3 report.

Coleman is an Alabama native who stayed in-state to play at Auburn, and now the rival program in the state is trying to entice Coleman to continue his collegiate career in Tuscaloosa. He’s a former 5-star recruit from the 2024 recruiting class, and as of now he’s the top-ranked player who’s available in the transfer portal, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Despite Auburn’s struggles on offense this past season, Coleman managed to still catch 56 passes for 708 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Coleman put up pretty good numbers in his first season on the Plains, too, catching 37 passes for 598 yards and 8 touchdowns during the 2024 season.

But after 2 years at Auburn, Coleman isn’t coming back for Alex Golesh‘s first season on the Plains in 2026, and rival programs are reportedly coming after Coleman, including the ultimate rival from the same state.
