Alabama ruled out running back Kevin Riley and tight end Josh Cuevas on the availability report submitted to the SEC Wednesday night.

Starting center Parker Brailsford and star wide receiver Germie Bernard were both listed as probable for Saturday’s Iron Bowl showdown against Auburn.

Cuevas is set to miss his second straight game after starting the first 10 of the season for Alabama. He was seen wearing a medical boot during the team’s win over Eastern Illinois last weekend, though coach Kalen DeBoer said on Monday of this week that the staff would “keep evaluating” him throughout the week.

Both Brailsford and Bernard were also held out of last week’s game. Brailsford was seen wearing a medical boot as well. Immediately after the game, DeBoer hinted that both could be back for the trip to Auburn.

Bernard leads the Tide in receptions (48), receiving yards (676), and receiving touchdowns (6). Cuevas is third on the team in receptions (30). He’s the only tight end with double-digit catches this season.

With both he and Danny Lewis Jr. unavailable on Saturday, freshman Kaleb Edwards could see an expanded role. Edwards had 6 receptions for 100 yards and a score in 11 appearances this season.

Riley is also set to miss time. He did not play in the Oklahoma game on Nov. 15 but returned against Eastern Illinois last week, rushing 8 times for 36 yards and 2 scores. The freshman running back is second on the Tide in rushing this season, with 222 yards on 56 carries.

Daniel Hill and AK Dear figure to fill in behind starting tailback Jam Miller with Riley out of the lineup. Dear has flashed in limited action this season. He had 76 rushing yards on 5 carries against Louisiana-Monroe in Week 2, and he ran 9 times for 45 yards with 2 touchdowns last week.

The Crimson Tide’s full availability report can be found below. Alabama will update the injury report on Thursday and Friday before finalizing it on Saturday. The game against Auburn is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
