Alabama standout OL expected to return for FSU game, per report

After handling their SEC opener against Kentucky last weekend, the No. 10-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will welcome the Florida State Seminoles to Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday for an SEC vs. ACC clash.
Kalen DeBoer and the Tide will be looking to avenge their Week 1 loss to the Noles from last season, when Alabama entered Doak Campbell Stadium as the No. 8 team in America and left with a shocking 31-17 loss.
It looks like the Tide will be getting some much-needed help along the offensive line this Saturday, with Alabama insider Alex Scarborough reporting Thursday that standout right guard Michael Carroll is expected to be available for the game.

A 5-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting cycle, Carroll committed to DeBoer and the Tide over several other top programs around the country. He appeared in all 14 games in his first season in Tuscaloosa, made 6 starts, and earned Freshman All-American honors for his efforts.
He entered Week 1 as the starting right guard for Alabama, but missed the Week 2 matchup against Kentucky with what the Scarborough called an “undisclosed injury.”
It looks like whatever that injury was is all healed up, so it will be interesting to see what type of impact Carroll ends up having for the Tide as they look to move to 3-0 on the new campaign this Saturday.
