Alabama starter added to injury report as game-time decision vs. Indiana
Alabama tight end Josh Cuevas will be a game-time decision for the Tide’s Rose Bowl matchup against Indiana.
Cuevas appeared on the availability report with that designation on Thursday afternoon. He’s joined on the injury report alongside Jah-Marien Latham, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. and Jeremiah Beaman, who have all been ruled out for the game.
Cuevas missed time this season with a foot injury, but was able to play in Alabama‘s comeback win over Oklahoma in the first round of the CFP. He caught 3 passes for 35 yards in that win.
Cuevas indicated earlier in the week that he’d be good to go for this game, but it seems there’s now some doubt regarding his status.
Here’s a look at Cuevas walking out on to the field for pregame warmups alongside Ty Simpson:
Cuevas is Alabama’s top receiving threat at tight end. He caught 33 passes for 376 yards this season. He’s also a good red zone target for Simpson and has 4 touchdowns on the year.
Alabama and Indiana are set to kick off at 4 p.m. ET on Thursday afternoon.
