Alabama WR Isaiah Horton makes decision on 2026 season

Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton has made the call on his future and he’s headed to the transfer portal, according to On3. The 6-foot-4, 208-pound junior was also contemplating entering the 2026 NFL Draft before making the choice to continue playing college football.

Horton recorded 42 receptions for 511 yards and 8 touchdowns this season in his lone year at Alabama. His receiving contributions helped Alabama finish 29th in passing yards nationally.

Horton was first in receiving touchdowns and third on the Crimson Tide in receiving yards this season. Horton spent his first 3 collegiate seasons at Miami.

Horton tallied a career-best 56 receptions and 616 yards along with 5 touchdowns in 2024 for Miami. In total, Horton had 70 receptions for 790 yards and 6 touchdowns with the Hurricanes. Horton redshirted his first season at Miami, giving him 1 remaining year of eligibility.

Coming of high school in Tennessee, Horton was regarded as the No. 10 in-state prospect and No. 49 receiver in the country, according to 247Sports.

Alabama finished this season with an 11-4 record. Alabama defeated host Oklahoma 34-24 in the first round of the College Football Playoff and then fell 38-3 against undefeated Indiana in the quarterfinals at the Rose Bowl.
