Alabama’s Ryan Coleman-Williams lands on ESPN’s list of top 10 wide receivers for 2026
Alabama star receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams had a down year in 2025, but is still regarded as an elite wide receiver nationally.
Coleman-Williams earned the No. 10 spot on ESPN’s new ranking of the top 10 wide receivers in the sport on Thursday. He’s one of three wide receivers from the SEC to make the cut, joining Texas stars Cam Coleman and Ryan Wingo.
“He’s got it, he just had a rough year,” an anonymous Big Ten staffer told ESPN. “Another inconsistent guy, but in terms of physical tools, he’s definitely a guy that pops off on tape.”
Coleman-Williams battled issues with drops throughout the season. According to Pro Football Focus, he dropped 10 passes during the 2025 season. His drop rate of 16.9% was the worst mark among all SEC receivers with at least 50 targets.

Still, Coleman-Williams managed to catch 49 passes for 689 yards and 4 touchdowns during his age-18 season. He’s expected to be a big part of Alabama‘s passing game in 2026.
Alabama has another receiver, Lotzeir Brooks, who made the “honorable mention” section of ESPN’s receiver rankings. Brooks caught 32 passes for 441 yards and 2 touchdowns as a freshman last season.
Alabama will face East Carolina in Week 1 to begin the 2026 season.
