Kamara spoke with reporters about the incident this past week:
“Poor judgment on my end, definitely a bad decision, but I’m a man,” Kamara said Friday. “Anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’ve stood on and I can take accountability for. I can say when I’m wrong, and I was completely wrong. Embarrassed the Saints, embarrassed my family and my mother, embarrassed myself, embarrassed this city and the shield, obviously, embarrassed the NFL.”
The star NFL RB is entering his 7th season in the league this season and will be able to return for the Saints’ Week 4 divisional matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kamara is a 5-time pro bowler who has racked up over 5,000 career rushing yards with 49 rushing touchdowns. What makes him especially dangerous is his ability as a receiver. Across 7 years in the league, Kamara has totaled 430 receptions for 3,753 yards and 22 touchdowns.
