The Manning family won’t be out of college football any time soon.

This week, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning was asked about his cousin, Marshall Manning, who currently plays for Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Marshall is the starting quarterback for a Baylor squad that is considered to be one of the best high school teams in the Volunteer State.

But it’s not just Manning keeping Baylor school in such high regard. Baylor also features 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges, who committed to Tennessee over Ohio State and other top suitors in July.

While mentioning his cousin, Manning gave a shout out to the Vols’ highly-touted commit: “I’m fired up for (Marshall), he’s at a really good school. They’ve got a really good running back,” Manning said. “He looks yoked… what are they feeding those guys?”

Manning ain’t lying. If you’re unfamiliar with the Vols’ next superstar, you won’t be for long. I’ll let the following highlight reel do the talking — and keep in mind, all these highlights are from DGG’s first game of the 2026 season.

Tennessee football has developed some great running backs over the years. Obviously, Alvin Kamara went on to dominate in the NFL, but Jaylen Wright and Dylan Sampson are both rising stars for the Dolphins and Browns, too.

Tennessee’s feature back for 2026 is Knoxville native DeSean Bishop, who rushed for 1,076 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2025. He’s primed for a massive year heading into his 3rd season on Rocky Top.
