While merely listing facts, Arkansas AD Hunter Yuracheck also upped the ante for the Battle Line Rivalry in the football team’s regular season finale vs. Missouri. During a speaking engagement, Yuracheck cited Arkansas’ success across all sports in the last 8 years and juxtaposed it against Missouri.
“Won 3 SEC championships, which gives us 39 over the course of the last 8 years,” Yuracheck told the Little Rock Touchdown Club. “To give you some perspective on those 39 across 12 different sports, our friends to the north at the University of Missouri have won zero during that same time period.”
The 56-year-old Yuracheck has served as Arkansas’ athletic director since 2017, after having the same role at Coastal Carolina (2010-15) and Houston (2015-17).
It remains to be seen if either team will win an SEC championship in 2025-26. Yet, you can guarantee that friendly trash talking is making its way into Missouri’s locker room and will serve as fuel when the Tigers head to Arkansas on the last weekend of the regular season.
On the gridiron, Missouri leads the all-time series 11-4 and is on a 3-game winning streak against Arkansas after taking last season’s matchup 28-21 in Columbia. Undefeated Missouri is currently ranked No. 23 in the AP poll, while Arkansas suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday at Ole Miss.
