According to 247Sports, Chavis is the No. 80 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 7 overall recruit from the state of Arkansas.
With Chavis’s commitment, the Hogs now have three players in their 2019 class. New coach Chad Morris has one player from Arkansas, one from Tennessee and one from Texas — three areas the Hogs need to recruit well to be competitive.
