Arkansas guard Boogie Fland will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season with a hand injury, according to a report.
That’s per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, who notes that Fland averages just over 15 points per game. He’s been the second-leading scorer for Arkansas to this point in the campaign.

In addition to his scoring, Fland also leads Arkansas in assists with 5.7 per contest. At over 34 minutes per game, he had a massive role in Arkansas’s rotation that will now have to be replaced.
Former Kentucky guard DJ Wagner may be tasked with picking up some of Fland’s scoring and playmaking load. He’s the only other player on the roster who averages more than 2.5 assists per game. Wagner is also third on the roster at over 10 points per night.
Fland’s injury means this season is going from bad-to-worse for the Razorbacks. Arkansas’s NCAA Tournament hopes were already starting to slip following its 0-5 start to SEC play. The Hogs have just an 8.8% chance to make the Big Dance, according to BartTorvik’s TourneyCast model — and that’s not accounting for Fland’s injury.
Arkansas will search for its first SEC win of the John Calipari era on Wednesday night against Georgia.
