Arkansas lands commitment from 2019 DL Taurean Carter out of Texas

The Arkansas Razorbacks are coming off a big homecoming win and got a boost to their 2019 class on Wednesday night.
This latest commitment comes from 3-star DE Taurean Carter II, who is a Mansfield, Texas, native.
As you can see in the video below, Carter announced his commitment to coach Chad Morris and the Razorbacks on Twitter on Wednesday night:

According to the 247Sports composite, Carter is the No. 45 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 73 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
The Razorbacks now have 23 players in their 2019 class. Prior to Carter’s commitment, the class ranked No. 8 in the SEC and No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports.
