Auburn has picked up plenty of recruiting momentum under Alex Golesh, with seven players from the class of 2027 committing to the program in June. That number increased to eight on Sunday in the form of a top defensive lineman from Charlotte.

Nate Kamba, rated the No. 32 defensive lineman in the country by 247Sports, has pledged to the Tigers after taking an official visit. He becomes the 18th commitment in a class that ranks No. 12 nationally.

Though the 6-foot-4, 200-pound Kamba is being recruited as a DL, he has also seen time as an offensive lineman. His pledge makes him the second defensive lineman of the class to commit to Auburn, joining Donivan Moore.

As mentioned, June has been a busy month for Auburn. It started on June 1, with commitments from St. Louis running back Kingston Miles and Florida kicker Noah Ash. The next day, South Carolina cornerback Aidyn Wiggins verballed, as did top five linebacker Isaac McNeil.

June 8 saw two more players pledge: Chance Gilbert, the nation’s No. 8 safety, and offensive lineman Reed Ramsier, the No. 18 interior OL in the country. Then, on June 10, Maryland edge rusher Rion Jackson committed to Auburn.
