Auburn scored a huge gain after Michigan’s big loss, and because of it the Tigers’ wide receivers room looks significantly better in 2026 than it did 24 hours ago.

Four-star phenom Brady Marchese has changed his mind yet again. The Cartersville, Ga., product who had decided to stay in-state and was committed to Georgia for more than 9 months, then flipped his commitment to Michigan earlier this month, has flipped once again. This time, following the Sherrone Moore firing sent Michigan’s program into major upheaval, Marchese has decided to flip his commitment back to the SEC and Auburn.

Marchese officially decommitted from Michigan on Friday, requesting a release from his National Letter of Intent with the Wolverines. When Michigan granted Marchese’s request, his recruitment was reopened, and Auburn jumped on him, earning a commitment from Marchese on Sunday.

New Tigers head coach Alex Golesh played a big part in snatching Marchese away from Michigan and back to the SEC.

“I really like the offense Coach Golesh runs, and I feel like I can be dynamic in the offense,” said Marchese, according to On3.

Marchese is Auburn’s 3rd wide receiver commit during the 2026 recruiting cycle, with all 3 of those playmakers once being committed to other programs. So, Golesh’s influence has taken hold quickly on the Plains, before he even coaches a game.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Marchese is the 134th-ranked player in the Class of 2026. He’s also the 20th-ranked wide receiver and the 15th-ranked player from the state of Georgia.

Auburn’s 2026 recruiting class is now ranked 30th in the country, according to those 247Sports Composite rankings.
