Per Kohl’s Kicking, McGough is rated as as a 5-star player and is the No. 3 kicker in the nation. McGough also had offers from Tennessee, Ole Miss, and others.
McGough made 19 of his 22 field goal attempts in his senior season. The kicker made a 60-yarder against Ramsay High School and all of his misses were from 56+ yards out. 6 of his makes were from at least 50 yards out and he was a perfect 45-of-45 on extra points.
The kicker will likely back up Alex McPherson as a freshman for the Tigers in 2024.
