Auburn football jumped into the “Love Island” craze on Thursday, releasing a hype video on X featuring clips from the popular Peacock show.

The video features Season 7 contestants Nic and Olandria, with the two discussing their shared college football fanhood.

“I love college football season,” Olandria can be seen saying. “Saturdays, I literally just be at home watching college football.”

“We love a girl that watches football,” Nic said. “Are you a Bama fan?” (The word “Bama” is bleeped and censored, of course, this being Auburn’s account.)

Auburn fan,” Olandria, a Decatur, Ala. native, replied.

From there, the video continues with clips from the previous season. You can watch below:

Unfortunately for Olandria, she hasn’t had much to cheer about in recent years as the Tigers have come off back-to-back sub-.500 seasons under Hugh Freeze. They went 6-7 in 2023 — losing the Music City Bowl — and 5-7 in 2024.

Freeze was brought in from Liberty to replace Bryan Harsin, who went 9-12 in 21 games. The third-year Tigers head coach has vowed a turnaround to his team’s fortunes in 2025, but if that doesn’t happen, Auburn could be looking for a new head coach for the third time in the last 5 years.
