Kareem Palmer has found a home on The Plains.

The linebacker from neighboring Georgia is the newest Auburn football commitment. He announced his pledge to play for Alex Golesh‘s program during a campus visit during Big Cat Weekend.

Out of Lyons (Georgia) Toombs County High School, Palmer is listed as measuring 6-2 and 210 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Palmer is rated 3-stars, the No. 39 linebacker, No. 61 player in the state of Georgia and No. 505 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

As one of the top linebackers in the Peach State, Palmer was being recruited by multiple major programs. He has collected 22 scholarship offers, drawing interest from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan, Mizzou, Tennessee, Texas and others.

Palmer told Hayes Fawcett of Rivals that it came down to Auburn, Mississippi State and Texas A&M, with AU winning his pledge.

With Palmer on board, Auburn has 7 commitments for the 2027 cycle. Fans can get a preview of what he’ll bring to the team next year by checking out his highlights below, via Hudl:
