Auburn just made a huge addition to its 2027 recruiting class.

The Tigers have earned a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Jaylon Moore, beating out the likes of Alabama and Pittsburgh for his pledge.

“Born to be a Tiger,” Moore told On3’s Hayes Fawcett after committing.

Moore is a huge pickup for the Tigers in this class. He’s currently ranked as the No. 724 overall player and the No. 44 interior offensive lineman in the nation for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Moore picked up numerous power-conference offers late in the 2025 season, including from Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech and others.

A Georgia native, Moore attends Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 290 pounds.

Moore is the fourth recruit to commit to Auburn in the class of 2027 but the first offensive lineman to do so. The Tigers are hoping to add other highly-touted recruits to their class in the coming weeks and months.

This is the first full recruiting cycle for new head coach Alex Golesh, who joined Auburn from South Florida this past offseason. Golesh and the Tigers are hoping to generate significant momentum with on-field results in 2026.
