The Auburn Tigers are entering their first official recruiting cycle of the Alex Golesh era, and the new head man on the plains is already hitting the recruiting trail hard in search of high school talent he can add to his 2027 class.

Golesh and the Tigers got a massive boost in this department on Monday afternoon, as 3-star tight end Tank Proctor officially became the first commitment in for Auburn of the 2027 cycle, according to the official Rivals X account.

The Florida native plays for Sunshine State powerhouse American Plantation, and he currently ranks as the 30th-best tight end recruit in the country and the 586th-best player overall according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.

The 6’5 214-pound soon-to-be high school senior received an official offer from the Tigers back in May of 2025, and he committed to Golesh and the Tigers over several other major programs, including Florida, Florida State, Miami and Mizzou.

Proctor marks the first high school recruiting win of the Golesh era at Auburn, and he will more than likely be instrumental in helping the new head coach secure further commitments in the 2027 cycle heading into the spring and summer months.
