Auburn has made an exciting addition to its 2027 recruiting class.
The Tigers have picked up a commitment from 3-star safety Preston Williams. He shared the news of his commitment on social media on Sunday following a visit to campus.
Williams is a local prospect. He attends George W. Long High School in Skipperville, Alabama.

Williams is a 3-star prospect. He’s currently regarded as the No. 168 safety and the No. 63 player from the state of Alabama for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He received an offer from Auburn earlier this month ahead of his senior season of high school football.
Auburn now has 21 commitments in its 2027 recruiting class. Williams is the third player from the state of Alabama to join the fold.
The Tigers’ class is led by 4-star running back Myles Johnson-Cook. Overall, Auburn’s 2027 recruiting class sits at No. 9 in the 2027 team rankings, per the 247Sports Composite.
