The 2020 recruiting cycle will mostly be wrapping up on Wednesday on National Signing Day, but the 2021 cycle is just starting to heat up.

On Saturday, the Auburn Tigers landed player No. 4 for their 2021 class, and this one is a 3-star safety out of Florida.

As you can see below, Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports announced via Twitter that Phillip O’Brien Jr. had committed to Auburn:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, O’Brien is the No. 15 safety in the class of 2021 and the No. 58 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

Auburn now has 4 players in its 2021 recruiting class. Prior to O’Brien’s decision, that class ranked No. 14 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
