The Tigers’ playoff hopes are dashed after suffering their second setback, but Gus Mazlahn’s team remains in the top 10 in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Top 25.
In the Coaches Poll, Auburn fell six spots to No. 9, a far cry from its spot in the top 5, where it had spent much of the season.
In the AP Top 25, Auburn fell to No. 9, just ahead of Ole Miss and Nebraska.
