Auburn releases intense hype video for Week 4 showdown at Oklahoma
Auburn will head to Norman on Saturday afternoon for 1 of the highlight SEC games of the early season, with the No. 22 Tigers facing No. 11 Oklahoma in a matchup of more than just ranked teams.
It’s got the narrative of quarterback Jackson Arnold returning to Norman, where he played the previous 2 seasons before transferring to the Plains. Arnold didn’t work out at Oklahoma, struggling during his 2 years there, but has found greener pastures at Auburn, at least to start the season.
Arnold has led the Tigers to a 3-0 start and has them in the AP Poll, and Oklahoma is also 3-0 on the young season, so this is a matchup of unbeatens to go with the Arnold theme. It’ll also be the SEC opener for both teams, so the Tigers and Sooners will be looking to get their conference slate off on the right foot.
For Auburn, it’s a chance to prove it’s for real, and on Friday night a hype video was released by Auburn football’s social media account with the headline “Block out the Noise”. It’s a little over a minute long, and it’ll likely take 60 minutes for the Tigers to take out the Sooners on the road and improve to 4-0.
Here is the hype video, an appetizer of sorts for Auburn fans before the main course on Saturday afternoon:
The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, with it having a showcase audience on ABC.
