Brown did it all for Alex Golesh‘s squad on Saturday. He was Auburn’s leading rusher, gaining 120 yards on the ground. As a passer, he was an effective 23-of-34 for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns with no interceptions.
While it was a 13-9 game at the end of the 3rd quarter, both offenses picked up the scoring pace in the 4th quarter. For Brown and the Tigers, it took 17 points because Arkansas managed to score 10 in the final period, tying it up twice after Auburn took the lead.
Auburn’s final offensive drive came after the 2-minute timeout with the game tied 23-23. Brown drove the Tigers 50 yards on 9 plays, setting up Alex McPherson for a go-ahead field goal that ultimately decided the game.
