Auburn transfer John Franklin has reportedly made his decision on his next stop
Wouldn’t you know it, Lane Kiffin appears to have struck at Auburn yet again.
News broke Tuesday morning that senior receiver John Franklin III would be leaving the Auburn program via transfer. Apparently, he’s already made up his mind regarding his next destination.
According to Sports Call Auburn, Franklin will reportedly head to FAU to unite with its new head coach — one Lane Kiffin.

Franklin arrived at Auburn last summer with visions of becoming the program’s new quarterback. It didn’t take long before the team realized Sean White was a better option under center with Franklin making appearances almost exclusively as a running back.
In total, Franklin attempted 26 passes in his Auburn career while rushing the ball 46 times. He was moved to receiver this offseason and was not a factor in the quarterback competition that Jarrett Stidham eventually won.
