Michigan lost at Oklahoma last weekend and coincidentally FOX Sports’ Dave Portnoy couldn’t make it for Big Noon Kickoff this Saturday. Big Cat is playfully calling BS on Barstool Sports’ leader.

As part of his contract with FOX, Big Cat is on site for select Big Noon episodes when Portnoy can’t show up. During the Week 3 edition at Northwestern for the contest vs. No. 4 Oregon, the Chicago local poked some fun at Portnoy, who said he conveniently had another gig to attend.

“Dave watched his Michigan Wolverines lose to Oklahoma… and he said, ‘you know what?’ I’m going to do a pizza fest so I don’t have to show up.'” Big Cat said.

Big Cat is a Wisconsin graduate and used that as another rib at Portnoy. The Badgers take on host No. 19 Alabama in Week 3 at 12 p.m. ET, with that game on ABC.

“If Wisconsin loses by a billion, unlike Dave, I will still show up next week,” Big Cat said.

No. 23 Michigan will try to bounce back in Week 3 against visiting Central Michigan at 12 p.m. from Ann Arbor (Big Ten Network). If the Wolverines somehow find a way to blow that, you can guarantee Big Cat will pounce.
