The Big Ten is a league facing a crisis among its member schools right now. After deciding to postpone fall sports, the conference is facing major backlash.
Players, coaches, administrators and even some medical experts are wondering why the league made the decision to cancel the football season. And, those questions have been mostly answered with silence from commissioner Kevin Warren.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg tweeted on Sunday morning that a Big Ten administrator texted him on Saturday night saying the league is “seriously divided”:

That’s an understatement, to be sure. When you have coaches like Scott Frost at Nebraska and Ryan Day at Ohio State hinting that their schools would explore options for playing the 2020 season elsewhere, that’s not good.
Will the Big Ten be able to reach a more amicable solution for all member schools? That seems unlikely at this point, but we’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.
