Bijan Robinson has emerged as one of the NFL’s leading running backs during his brief NFL career. And it didn’t take the Atlanta Falcons RB long to find the end zone as he enters Year 3 in the league.

In fact, it didn’t even take him 3 minutes into the new season during the Falcons’ opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons faced a 2nd and 5 at midfield before Michael Penix Jr. found him with a screen pass to the right side, and the former Texas standout took it to the house to put Atlanta on the board.

Here’s video of the play:

After 976 yards and 4 touchdowns in his rookie season, Robinson took 304 carries for 1,456 yards and 14 TDs, ending 2024 in the top 5 in the latter categories as he was named to the Pro Bowl.

Robinson’s receiving ability can’t be overlooked, though. He made 58 catches for 487 yards and 4 TDs in 2023 and added 61 receptions for 431 yards and a score a season later. And, at least early on, his 2025 season is off to a good start as the Falcons look to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
