The 2026 college football season is almost here. With only 1 more Saturday with no college football games, many major awards are releasing watch lists to let everyone know the early names on the radar.
On Wednesday, it was the Biletnikoff Award’s turn to release a preseason watch list. The SEC is well-represented with 13 wide receivers on the watch list. The Biletnikoff Award reminds everyone that the award is for top pass-catcher. While there are tight ends on the full watch list (below), all the SEC representatives play wide receiver.
- Tre Brown III, LSU WR
- Cam Coleman, Texas WR
- Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama WR
- Mario Craver, Texas A&M WR
- Anthony Evans III, Mississippi State WR
- Jackson Harris, LSU WR

- Mike Matthews, Tennessee WR
- Isaiah Sategna III, Oklahoma WR
- Junior Sherrill, Vanderbilt WR
- Keshaun Singleton, Auburn WR

- Ryan Wingo, Texas WR

In the last 3 seasons, the award has gone to wide receivers from the Big Ten (Marvin Harrison Jr., 2023; Makai Lemon, 2025) and the Big 12 (Travis Hunter, 2024). Tennessee’s Jalin Hyatt was the most recent winner from the SEC in 2022.
Semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 16, and then the 3 finalists named on Nov. 24. The 2026 award will be presented Dec. 11 on the College Football Awards show.
