Bill Belichick, North Carolina to be featured in Hulu docuseries, per report
North Carolina and Bill Belichick are set to be featured on a new docuseries for Hulu, according to a report.
That news was first shared by Front Office Sports on Friday morning. The news comes a couple of months after reported negotiations with HBO’s Hard Knocks fell through at the last minute.
While Carolina was initially linked to a deal with Hard Knocks, the negotiations reportedly ended due to demands from Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. Prior to that development, Carolina was set to be featured on the ‘offseason’ version of the long-running documentary series.
Instead, it seems Chapel Hill will be highlighted on Hulu. It’s unclear at this time if the documentary will focus on UNC’s offseason or if the crew will be using in-season footage from North Carolina football.
A name for the show has not yet been finalized. However, Front Office Sports’ report says Hudson’s firm has attained trademarks such as: Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version),” “Do Your Job: (Bill’s Version),” and “No Days Off (Bill’s Version).”
North Carolina hired Belichick after the 2024 season to replace Mack Brown. Although Belichick is a legendary NFL coach, this will be his first time coaching at the collegiate level during his career.
North Carolina will open the 2025 season against TCU on Sept. 1.
