Bill Connelly has dropped his latest SP+ percentages, including the projection for the division races in the SEC ahead of a big weekend in the conference.

This weekend, No. 13 LSU heads to No. 8 Alabama while No. 1 Georgia hosts No. 14 Missouri in key divisional clashes.

The ESPN analyst currently has Alabama with the best odds to win the West at 73 percent, followed by LSU (21 percent), Ole Miss (5 percent), and Texas A&M (1 percent). On the East side, Connelly gives Georgia 81 percent odds, then Missouri (11 percent), and Tennessee (8 percent).

ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum meanwhile is touting LSU-Alabama as the most meaningful contest of the season for the SEC.

“I think this is exactly what we thought it would be in the offseason. It’s the game of the year in the SEC West at least,” Finebaum said. “On Monday, I feel pretty good about Alabama but I wouldn’t want to have to make a case to a group of scholars on a dissertation about why. Because every time you try to answer a question somebody will throw something at you.”

A win vs. Missouri would help Georgia move closer to another trip to the SEC title game as they strive for a historic 3-peat as national champions.

The pair of games will be both be featured on CBS. Missouri-Georgia will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by LSU-Alabama at 7:45 p.m. EST.
