Boneheaded play of the week: Dak Prescott INT

This week’s boneheaded play of the week features someone that I never thought I’dย call out this year.

Dak Prescott of Mississippi State has played so well over the course of the season, but this weekend was a rough one for him.

I thought he’dย have the toughest task of any SEC quarterback on Saturday, and it proved to be true. His threeย interceptions were rough, but one in particular was just a flat-out boneheaded play.

While all threeย of his picks were in Alabama territory, this one stands out to me as being the worst. When playing against Alabama, you just canโ€™t make plays like that and survive.

Prescott has been one of the best players in the countryย this season. He was a Heisman Trophyย front-runner. He was leading the No. 1-ranked team in all of college football. Then he ran into the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

I still think he’sย one of the best players in the game. That said, if he would have won this game and not throwย threeย picks, I think he would’ve won the Heisman.

I’m a Dak Prescott fan and I think youโ€™d have a hard time findingย someone that isnโ€™t a fan of his. He has a remarkable story and the players love him. I hope that he, and the Bulldogs, can get back on the horse and finish strong. They still have a lot to play for and can still have a very special season.
