Booger McFarland commends Alabama for ‘resiliency’ during turbulent 2023 season
Booger McFarland likes what he’s been seeing from Alabama. The Tide are coming off another impressive win over the Tennessee Volunteers and appear primed for another run at the College Football Playoff.
McFarland noted the team’s “resiliency,” and said the Tide “continue to amaze.” Alabama overcame a 13-point halftime deficit vs. the Vols on Saturday.
“It’s not flashy, it’s not easy every week anymore but they have a chance to run the table and be 11-1 facing undefeated Georgia for a playoff spot and all year long we have doubted them,” explained the analyst.

The Tide are entering a bye week and must then prepare to face LSU in Week 10.
If the Tide can get through the Tigers unscathed, they should be able to finish undefeated with games against Kentucky, Chattanooga, and Auburn to finish out the regular season.
