Brad White for some time last week had some interest from Brian Kelly and LSU, but the Kentucky defensive coordinator has elected to remain in Lexington and is looking forward to the future with Mark Stoops and the Wildcats program.
In a press conference ahead of the Citrus Bowl against Iowa, White said that Kentucky is home, and that Kentucky is family, and he appreciated Big Blue Nation for the fan support. About being embraced by the community, White said, “There’s no monetary value you can put on that.”
Perhaps to show his mutual admiration for the state and community, White last week donated his bowl bonus to tornado relief efforts in western Kentucky.
Brad White: “I am so excited to be here and to be Kentucky’s defensive coordinator. Kentucky is home. Kentucky is family… Really want to thank Big Blue Nation for their comments and outpouring of support and really excited to continue to build with Coach Stoops”
