Brandon Miller and Scoot Henderson are still in the mix to be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Jonathan Givony, Miller and Henderson are both expected to have another round of workouts and interviews with the Hornets on Monday.

The report notes that team owner Michael Jordan will attend the sessions. Jordan, who has finalized a deal to sell his majority ownership in the Hornets in the coming weeks, will be the franchise’s final decision-maker on draft night.

ESPN’s report also says that while Miller remains the “front-runner” to be picked No. 2 overall, Henderson impressed Charlotte’s front office with his initial pre-draft workout last week.

Miller was the SEC’s Player of the Year during his freshman season at Alabama. At 6-foot-9, Miller projects to be a versatile scoring wing in the NBA and would give the Hornets length on the perimeter alongside star guard LaMelo Ball.

Henderson is a G-League Ignite product who has a high-ceiling as a scoring league guard. He averaged 17.6 points and 6.6 assists per contest with the Ignite this season.

Victor Wembanyama is expected to be the top pick by the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s draft.

The 2023 NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 22.
