Breaking down early Alabama football betting lines for 2026
The 2026 Alabama football season is an important one for Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide program as a whole.
Alabama is coming off of appearances in the SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff, but those accomplishments yielded disappointing results in the end โ a loss to Georgia in the SEC title game and a blowout defeat at the hands of Indiana in the CFP.
Looking ahead to 2026, Alabama is once again expected to contend at the top of the SEC. A variety of sports betting apps have unveiled early college football betting lines for 2026, including action on several Alabama games.

Let’s break down the betting lines for the available contests:
East Carolina at Alabama
Betting line: Alabama -26.5 (via BetMGM)
This is Alabama’s season-opener. The Crimson Tide are, of course, massive favorites over an East Carolina program that went 9-4 in the AAC last season. Since DeBoer arrived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama is just 7-3 straight up when favored by 14 points or more.
Florida State at Alabama
Betting line: Alabama -15.5 (via DraftKings)
Alabama will get its shot at revenge against Florida State on Sept. 19. Last year, the Noles shocked Alabama by winning outright as a double-digit underdog. Alabama is 3-1-1 all-time against FSU.

Georgia at Alabama
Betting line: Alabama +3 (via DraftKings)
A lot can change between now and Oct. 10, but Alabama is currently expected to be an underdog when it hosts Georgia this fall. These teams met twice last season โ Alabama won in the regular season while UGA got revenge in the SEC title game. DeBoer is 2-1 against Kirby Smart, although both victories were narrow.
Alabama at Tennessee
Betting line: Alabama -1.5 (via DraftKings)
The very next week on Oct. 17, Alabama will travel to Knoxville. That has been a tall task for the Tide during the Josh Heupel era. The Vols have won 2 straight against rival Alabama in Knoxville. As things stand, Alabama is a slight favorite to break that streak.
Texas A&M at Alabama
Betting line: Alabama -2.5 (via DraftKings)
This is another harrowing October contest for the Crimson Tide. Texas A&M returns quarterback Marcel Reed and has legitimate College Football Playoff aspirations. In the DeBoer era, Alabama is 10-1 straight up and 8-3 against the spread as a home favorite.
Alabama at LSU
Betting line: Alabama +4.5 (via BetMGM)
The betting markets are bullish on LSU in Year 1 under Lane Kiffin. For as daunting as Tiger Stadium is, Alabama has had plenty of success in that stadium. Since 2008, Alabama is 7-2 straight up against the Tigers on the road. However, it’s worth noting Alabama was the favorite in all 9 of those games.
