Bryan Harsin continues to be asked about the Auburn quarterbacks, and continues to speak about TJ Finley first, and then Zach Calzada and Robby Ashford.
On his radio show “Tiger Talk” on Thursday night, Harsin said of Finley, “from this time last year, to the spring… to the summer… to where we are right now” has a better understanding of “what we’re doing.
Harsin added that he’s still not ready to name a starter, explained “We’ll see where we are at the end of this week.”
While Harsin hasn’t named a starter, those close to the program, such as Tom Green of AL.com suggests that Finley continues to standout, while Ashford has made strides lately, and Calzada is trying to catch up from missing time in the offseason.
T.J. Finley was again the first QB mentioned by Bryan Harsin, followed by Robby Ashford and then Zach Calzada.
Finley’s command continues to stand out. Ashford has come on strong of late. Calzada still playing catch-up. Harsin mentions Calzada missed some time in summer too.

Harsin added that his second season of fall practice at Auburn has “been much different” in the players’ understanding the plan, and added, “We should feel and fresh” for the Mercer game.
