Georgia defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter was arrested early Sunday morning, according to a report from Bulldogs beat writer Marc Weiszer.

Ledbetter, who is 18, was arrested by the Athens-Clarke County police department at 3:31 a.m. on charges of underage possession/distribution of alcohol, as well as possession/making false ID.

He was released just over an hour later after posting bail of approximately $3,000.

The police records can be found here.

Ledbetter is a former four-star recruit who played sparingly for the Bulldogs as a freshman last season.

According to Weiszer, he could be facing a one-game suspension as part of the Georgia Athletic Association’s penalties for a first-time violation of the drug and alcohol policy.
