Byrum Brown came to Auburn to play and deliver in big games. The Tigers are in such a game on Saturday, as they are playing Tennessee on the road in a big SEC game.
With his team trailing 17-7 in the fourth quarter, Brown delivered with a 4-play, 94 yard drive capped off with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Arlis Boardingham to cut the deficit to three.
Brown delivered a huge 57-yard run on the play before to give the Tigers the ball at the 16-yard line.
The Tigers entered this game with some momentum after knocking off Vanderbilt, 21-15, to give Golesh his first SEC win as the coach at Auburn. Saturday presented him the opportunity to get his first road win in the SEC, and the Tigers are within striking distance late in the game.
If they are going to be able to compelte the comeback and get the win in Knoxville, then the Tigers may just need a couple more signature plays from Brown.
