Caleb Odom, a 4-star tight end in the Class of 2024, announced Saturday that he has set a commitment date of July 15. The 6-5 TE will be choosing between Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Florida and Miami.
Alabama has been a favorite for Odom for some time now. He holds multiple crystal balls to Tuscaloosa, including one from 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong.
Odom, who attends Carrolton HS in Carrolton, Georgia, is a multi-sport athlete, also playing basketball at CHS. 247 reports that a few SEC programs have reached out to Odom to play basketball, including LSU and Vanderbilt. Don’t expect Odom to trade in his cleats, though.
Odom announced his commitment date via Twitter Saturday morning:

Alabama hosted Odom on an official visit to start June. Since, Odom has been to several top programs across the country on official visits.
The Tide still does not hold a commitment from a true TE in the 2024 cycle. Could that change next Saturday?
