Cam Ward’s ‘concerningly chill’ first half vs. Florida draws reaction from social media

Cam Ward has been the definition of “calm and collected” against Florida to start Saturday afternoon in The Swamp. Maybe a little too calm. J.D. PicKell perfectly described Ward’s start as “concerningly chill.”

The former Washington State QB and current Miami signal caller, among other descriptors, has looked almost bored against Florida to start his Miami career. And though he had a slip up in the form of a terrible interception, he’s had a strong start, too. Ward has thrown for 113 yards, connecting on 13 of his 16 attempts for 2 touchdowns.

Ward literally walked out of bounds at one point, which you can see in the reactions below. His interception was a little bizarre too, as he looked completely nonchalant before firing a ball to an open Florida defender. one thing’s for sure: Ward hasn’t been your typical visiting QB in Gainesville.
