Camar Wheaton, Alabama RB, makes decision about his future, per reports

Camar Wheaton, a former 5-star recruit who recently was away from the Alabama team, has made a decision on his future.
A report last week suggested that he was not expected to return to the team, but the seventh-highest rated recruit of Alabama’s class of 27 players in 2021 has entered the transfer portal, according to reports from Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports and Matt Fortuna of The Athletic.
Wheaton dealt with a knee injury, and in November, coach Nick Saban said at the time that he still has a ways to go, and wasn’t on the field then.
Wheaton ranked as the No. 34 overall player in the 2021 class out of Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas, and chose Alabama over Oklahoma. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Wheaton, who was the No. 3 running back in the country in the 2021 class, ran for 3,731 yards and 48 touchdowns in his highs school career.
