Cayden Lee woke up the sleepwalking Mizzou offense, and then he might have just woken up the home crowd in Columbia.

With Texas A&M leading the 14th-ranked Tigers, 3-0, early in the second quarter on Saturday afternoon, the senior wide receiver ran a perfect slant pattern, catching a perfectly thrown pass by quarterback Austin Simmons, and then Lee took off.

It was a 3rd-and-4 play from the Aggies’ 32-yard line, and the Simmons-to-Lee connection was on display. Lee caught the pass at about the Texas A&M 25-yard line and took it the rest of the way on the 32-yard touchdown pass that finally got Mizzou on the board. It finished off a 10-play, 77-yard drive, and the Tigers suddenly led 7-3 with 12:58 remaining before halftime.

The touchdown was Lee’s 5th of the 2026 season, and it was a huge touchdown that preceded a Mizzou field goal that gave the Tigers a 10-3 halftime lead.

But what about what happened after Lee reached the end zone? That was a whole different discussion, as Lee went into a dance routine that only he could describe. The touchdown celebration had to be therapeutic for him and for Mizzou, which was getting shut out on its home field and was in serious need of a jolt.

Consider that done, and here was the memorable TD celebration:

Mizzou had a slim lead at halftime on Texas A&M, so there was a lot more work to be done for the Tigers on Saturday. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about the chances for Mizzou to finish the Aggies off in Columbia in Week 6:
