CBS Sports analysts Randy Cross, Rick Neuheisel, Brian Jones and Aaron Taylor made their upset picks for Week 6 on Tuesday night during Inside College Football. Taylor has his upset coming from the SEC, as he is taking the Florida Gators to pick up a huge home win against the Texas Longhorns.
Usually when people pick an upset, there are statistics and many other things going into that decision. However, for Taylor it was nothing more than a ‘gut feeling’.
“Even though I did have chili at lunch, I’ve got a funny tummy feeling as well, and that’s that Florida is going to upset the Longhorns, baby,” Taylor said. “I don’t know why, I just got a little bit of a feeling.”
For the Gators to pull the upset, it would be quite a victory for Billy Napier and his team. The Longhorns have struggled on offense, but they still have one of the best defenses in the country. Florida hasn’t been able to get anything going on offense, as the Gators have scored only 33 points in their three losses.
In the loss against LSU, DJ Lagway threw five interceptions, and he followed that up by throwing for only 61 yards in the loss to Miami.
If Florida is going to get the win, that feeling that Taylor has might just be because the Gators defense make things very difficult on Arch Manning and the Longhorns offense.
