Texas and No. 6 Oklahoma clash this Saturday in the Red River Rivalry, and the analysts of CBS Sports’ Inside College Football have locked in their picks for the winner.

Oklahoma will be looking to stay undefeated and pick up its second SEC win of the season, while Texas will be in search of its first win over a Power 4 opponent. Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer, who has been out with a hand injury the past couple of weeks, is pushing to play this week and is listed as questionable.

With that being said, CBS Sports analyst Rick Neuheisel thinks Texas’s defense will be inspired this week after their performance last week, and he is picking the Longhorns to win this game.

“But something about the way Texas played defense last week, I think, inspires them to bring a different attitude into this game,” Neuheisel said.

University of Texas alum and CBS Sports analyst Brian Jones is also going with the Longhorns in this matchup. Jones highlighted how Oklahoma’s defense has been stellar this year but questioned the Oklahoma offense whether Mateer plays or not. Oklahoma has struggled to run the ball so far this season and has made Mateer carry a lot.

We’ll see how these picks hold up on Saturday.
