CBS Sports revealed which coordinators on which teams were the best of the best in their conferences during a stacked Week 4 of the 2026 college football season.
The SEC‘s slate was so stacked in fact and so full of great performances by teams that CBS Sports picked not 1 but 2 coordinators as its SEC coordinators of Week 4. Florida earned a huge home win over previously No. 4 Ole Miss on Saturday, sending the Gators up to No. 8 in Sunday’s new AP Poll, and once again the UF offense was unstoppable.
Florida scored 52 points in the 52-28 victory, and first-year offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner was rewarded by CBS Sports as 1 of its 2 top SEC coordinators of the week. Faukner has been on a heater since he arrived in Gainesville, with the Gators posting 66, 52, 44 and another 52 points, respectively, in their first 4 games of the season.
Faulkner has obviously been at the center of that, and it was on the national TV stage in Week 4 with UF rolling to 498 total yards in the ABC game.
Meanwhile, in the primetime ABC matchup on Saturday night, LSU was busy bouncing back with a vengeance from its Week 3 loss at Ole Miss with a spirited 35-6 pounding of Texas A&M at Death Valley.
The Tigers defense allowed the Aggies just 197 total yards on the night and had 2 interceptions, and CBS Sports rewarded LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker for that performance by naming him its other SEC coordinator of the week.
