Yes, all of them.

10 SEC teams were included in the top 25, which started with No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Notre Dame. Texas is the first SEC representative at No. 4, followed close by Georgia at No. 5.

  • No. 5 — Georgia
  • No. 9 — Oklahoma
  • No. 10 — LSU
  • No. 11 — Texas A&M
  • No. 12 — Ole Miss
  • No. 13 — Alabama
  • No. 17 — Tennessee
  • No. 22 — Florida
  • No. 23 — Mizzou

Right off the bat, Mississippi State is probably ranked too low. The Bulldogs are hovering in the territory of Cal, Maryland and Northwestern — do we really believe the Bulldogs don’t beat each of those teams by 10 or more? Kamario Taylor is going to surprise some folks with his athleticism and Kelley Jones and Isaac Smith lead what should be an improved defense. MSU was more competitive than you remember in 2025 against a tough schedule, folks.

Five SEC teams are ranked in consecutive order from No. 9 to No. 13. It’s pretty trivial and we won’t know anything until the season kicks off in just a few weeks, but does Oklahoma deserve to lead the way among this bunch?

Time will tell.
