The Playoff pairings will be named next Sunday, the day after the conference championship games.

Alabama, which beat Auburn 29-13 Saturday, held on to the No. 2 spot behind Clemson, which beat South Carolina 37-32.

Clemson remained No. 1 after beating South Carolina 38-17. The Tigers play North Carolina in the ACC Championship Game.

Oklahoma, a 58-23 winner over Oklahoma State, is No. 3. The Sooners won the championship in the Big 12, which does not have a conference championship game.

Iowa, which remained No. 4 after a 28-20 victory over Nebraska, will play Michigan State, ranked No. 5, with the winner likely to claim a Playoff berth.
