WATCH: Chad Morris sends message to his Arkansas team: ‘It’s something special to wear that Razorback logo’
Heading into the 2019 season, Chad Morris wants his players to fully understand just how special it is to have the privilege to wear the Razorback logo.
Considering the Razorbacks are the only Power 5 football program in the Natural State, the school takes pride in carrying the flag for the entire state when it comes to football. That’s something Morris recently hit home with his players during practice.
“Let me just tell you if you look around players, look at our former players in our circle. It’s something, it’s something special to wear that logo on the side of the only Razorback in the country, there’s only one Razorback — and you have to work to wear it! Nobody’s giving it to you. You’re not entitled to it,” Morris says in the clip below. “Once you’re a player here you’re always a player here. These guys behind you and their families are where they are today because of the sweat on this football field, am I right men? Because of the sweat on his football field into sacrificing the crying and the laughing and in that locker room, and the bleeding.”
