The cast and crew of SEC Nation made the trip to Oxford, Mississippi, on Saturday for the massive Week 10 showdown between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels.
This will be the third meeting between these two SEC powerhouses in the last 13 months, and it figures to be another absolute slugfest as both squads look to keep pace in the SEC and College Football Playoff races.
As is tradition, the SEC Nation crew capped off the show by making their picks for the matchup. Former Mizzou quarterback-turned-analyst Chase Daniel took the opportunity to troll the Ole Miss crowd in attendance a little bit while making his selection, starting the Hotty Toddy chant before ultimately picking Georgia to come away with the win.
Rebels fans in attendance didn’t take too kindly to Daniel’s fake-out, but it was all in good fun. He wasn’t the only panel member to draw the ire of the fans either, as Tim Tebow and Paul Finebaum both joined Daniel in picking the Dawgs to secure the late-season victory.
Former Alabama safety Roman Harper was the only panelist to pick Ole Miss, a selection that drew a loud chorus of cheers from the crowd after three consecutive picks against their beloved Rebels.
